MEAT CONSUMPTION

WHICH COUNTRIES ARE EATING THE MOST AND WHICH THE LEAST?

An increase in the consumption of meat is directly correlated to an increase in a country’s economic development. As a country becomes richer, its citizens generally eat more meat, a much denser source of protein than is available in poorer countries. But the range of the amount of meat eaten in different countries
around the world is truly astounding. Here I will show you few countries which are eating the most every year, on a per capita basis, and which are eating the least.

  1. Es interesante el paulatino aumento del consumo de carne que ha habido en España. Sería interesante saber hasta que punto es algo positivo.

  4. I like that you combined three different things in just one graphic. We can see the overall growth of meat consumption, the meat consumption of the countries and how they changed. Clear to the point, good job!
