CATALAN ELECTIONS

THE RESULTS OF THE CATALAN ELECTIONS
25TH NOVEMBER

The last 25th of November voters in Spain's Catalonia region have given a majority to parties seeking Catalan independence. However, Catalan President Artur Mas, who called the early election and pushed for independence, lost seats.

His centre-right CiU remains the largest bloc, winning 50 seats out of 135, down from 62 last time. The left-wing separatist ERC won 21 seats. Both the CiU and ERC want to hold a referendum on independence from Spain.
"I am happy with tonight's results," Mas said, "but not as happy as I could have been."

ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Yolanda and I am a journalist student.

I have created this blog about society and also politics graphics in order to make you easier to understand what I post.

This blog is for my graphic design classes and I have chosen this format because it was the most I like it, the typology courier is in my opinion, the most stylish so that is the one I am using for the blog. The colours are already the same that come with the format but I leaved them because I think they are really well chosen, they are warm colours that make the information more confident.

I hope you like it!

Kind regards,

Yolanda.

MEAT CONSUMPTION

WHICH COUNTRIES ARE EATING THE MOST AND WHICH THE LEAST?

An increase in the consumption of meat is directly correlated to an increase in a country’s economic development. As a country becomes richer, its citizens generally eat more meat, a much denser source of protein than is available in poorer countries. But the range of the amount of meat eaten in different countries
around the world is truly astounding. Here I will show you few countries which are eating the most every year, on a per capita basis, and which are eating the least.
